Institute of Physical Chemistry – Polish Academy of Sciences
I finished my MSc Eng. studies in Biotechnology (specialty Microbioanalytics) at Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland. I then moved to Heidelberg, Germany, to join BioMed X Institute for the project “Nanomaterial-Based Biosensors” kindly sponsored by Roche Diagnostics. At the same time, I worked on my Ph.D. thesis entitled “Carbon-based nanomaterials for biosensing applications” at the Heidelberg University, which I successfully defended in June 2019.
My research interests include (bio)electrochemistry, nanomaterials, field-effect transistors, and microfluidics. In October 2020, I started the PD2PI fellowship at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences under the mentorship of Dr. Jan Guzowski. My project “Droplet microfluidic platform for electrochemical monitoring of single cells” will include droplet microfluidics, cell culture, and electrochemical measurements.
