Postdoctoral Researcher
I am a biomedical engineer and specialized in the biofabrication of 3D engineered tissue scaffolds. During my career, I focused on the characterization of naturally driven biomaterials and different biofabrication techniques such as freeze-drying, 3D bioprinting to design 3D porous matrices for musculoskeletal tissue regeneration.
Currently, within the group, I am focused on developing in vitro 3D skeletal muscle models, able to be implanted in vivo to regenerate skeletal muscle defects, using 3D wet spinning technologies coupled with microfluidic approaches.
